  • Your OTP (One-Time Password) secrets, TOTP/HOTP keys, and account details are stored locally on your device.

  • These are encrypted and never sent to our servers.

1.3. App Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., crash reports, feature usage frequency) through analytics tools to improve the app.

  • This data does not contain any authentication keys, codes, or personal account information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

  • Provide app functionality and generate time-based or counter-based OTP codes.

  • Improve app performance and user experience.

  • Diagnose and fix technical issues.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • All authentication data is stored locally on your device.

  • We use AES-256 encryption to secure stored secrets.

  • Device-level authentication (PIN, fingerprint, face unlock) can be enabled for additional protection.

  • We do not use cloud storage for your OTP secrets unless you choose to export and back them up manually.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information.
We will only disclose information if required by law or legal process.

5. Third-Party Services

AstroPass does not share OTP data with third-party services.
We may use analytics or crash reporting tools (e.g., Google Firebase) to monitor app stability and usage trends.

  • Request deletion of any identifiable analytics data.

  • Opt-out of analytics collection.
